i thought about the pavement as i was driving about town yesterday. i laughed at the thought of a 12 year old emche getting depressed over it.

i talked to my friend jonathan about the whole mainenance thing after our conversation and he had some sane, helpful thoughts...which inspired me to do a bible.crosswalk.com search of maintenance, maintain, and work. It was enlightening. I highly recommend it. We have a God who values mainenance. And that's a good thing even if it feels mundane.

Then, in God's providence, I watched the movie Click last night. Have you seen it? It's not like amazing, but it actually made me cry...it's kind of about how the mundane things (showering being one of them) are actually really good and what life is all about...sort of...that and relationships. Plus it had adam sandler...(my type-ish)

That IS helpful. I am glad to wonder about these things... I suppose that it's about stewardship too--of our lives and stuffs. I still don't want a lot of things to take care of though. :)
